Day 1
We will meet you at the airport of Irkutsk and take you to the cozy and hospitable Sayen Hotel. You will have enough time to relax before an exciting journey. In the evening, we will arrange a briefing to do all formalities. You will also enjoy a welcome dinner at the restaurant with national cuisine.
Interesting fact: Baikal is the deepest lake of our planet. Its depth is 1,642 m, and its age is about 25 million years.
Day 2
After breakfast you will receive a key to your Porsche car and we will begin an unforgettable journey to Baikal lake. However, before that, you will visit the fascinating ethnopark “Golden Horde”, where you will get acquainted with the culture of nomadic peoples who originally inhabited these lands. After a hearty national lunch, we will drive 160 km across the crystal ice to the “Baikal Riviera” – a premium hotel complex, where you will have a reception, sauna and dinner.
Interesting fact: Baikal lake is an ultimate dream for many tourists. Recreation of Baikal is known by famous personalities. For example, a famous director, James Cameron, celebrated his 51st birthday here, and Vladimir Putin has also been here more than once, and even managed to dive to the bottom of the lake on the Mir deep-sea vehicle.
Day 3
The third day will give you an unforgettable trip to the Olkhon island. Shrouded in white snow, surrounded by ice grottos and caves, it will appear for you in its pristine beauty and purity. After lunch with a samovar on the ice, we will continue exploring the charm of this fabulous land, where nature is majestic and beautiful. Porsche car will allow you to comfortably overcome any distance and enjoy the full beauty of these places. After dinner at the Baikal Riviera, we invite you to admire the stars and find out how beautiful the lake is at night.
Interesting fact: About 544 different watercourses are flowing into Baikal lake. At the same time, only one river flows out of the lake — Angara. At the place of his birth on the lake it is 1 kilometer wide.
Day 4
After the late breakfast, we will only have to say goodbye to the amazing and charming Baikal lake. At the wheel of Porsche, you will overcome about one hundred kilometers through its crystal waters and say goodbye to its colors. Our route will lead to a comfortable hotel, where you will be enjoying an exquisite farewell dinner with national cuisine.
Interesting fact: Baikal lake has the cleanest fresh water on the planet, and the lake is the most transparent of all freshwater lakes. At some areas, you can see its bottom at a depth of 40 meters!
Day 5
Our journey is coming to an end. After a delicious breakfast, we will take you comfortably to the airport of Irkutsk. Here you will say goodbye to the Siberian winter fairytale. The Porsche Travel Experience team will make every effort to make this trip a vivid memory for a long time.
Interesting fact: The ice on Baikal lake is completely transparent in many places. The wind blows the snow off the surface of the ice, and the weak mineralization of the water makes the ice surprisingly transparent. At the same time, the ice is so strong that you can even drive on it with a truck.
