The next day we will surprise you! Only travelling by car allows you to see the beauty of the surrounding nature while Porsche cars allow you to do this in comfort and in sport mode. From “Medvezhka” we will move along the shore of Onego Lake to the pier Oyatevshchina, where a hovercraft will take you through the Onegо skerries and give you the opportunity to admire the chapels on the small islands around. We will moor to the Kizhi island – the pearl of wooden architecture. The Kizhi churchyard will not leave anyone indifferent. The Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord, the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, traditional Karelian mills, houses and much more have been carefully preserved here! After a fascinating excursion, we will go to one of these old houses to take part in the cooking a national dish – kalitto.After a lunch in a house warmed by a real Russian traditional stove, we are going to laeve this hospitable island. You will spend the evening at the cozy tourist base “Bear Nook”, where you will have a bathhouse right next to the river. The local chef will prepare a special Karelian dinner right in front of you backuped by an old gramophone.

Interesting fact: The first mention of a village and churches on Kizhi Island occurred in chronicles four hundred years ago. Beginning with the sixteenth century, Kizhi was the administrative center of a large region (pogost) with a total population of 12.000.
